I have been to this place multiple times and like it, but honestly not my favorite coffee shop! The indoor looks getho and old but it is interesting how they attract so many customers to them. I'd say if this place was remodeled one day it would probably attract more customers! It is spacious and too many spots to sit. They also have an outdoor dining area. The prices are high here. Paid like 4$ for a tea. Great tasting tea though. Tried their cardamom and jasmine tea and it was an amazing mix. The server was nice and welcoming as well

Used to visit often and will again soon. Probably one of the best (and largest) outdoor sitting areas in SLC for coffee and snackies. Plenty of muffin and cookies options available. Inside is also large and offers plenty of seating and includes a TV and plenty of window space and seating along with charging ports. IMHO the frozen mocha shines and is stellar. The brewed coffee .......not so much. Take that for what's it's worth as I'm a coffee snob. Last I visited the Bathroom situation was not so good but that may have improved since then?

Fine. Coffee was okay. Barista was pleasant and attentive. Pretty slow and empty which is hard to make a fair review.

Food/Drink = Stellar 10/10 Ambience/Energy= Magnificent Service/Workers= Incredible and also Amazing. Try the Maple Chai! Its so yummy I was literally craving it as I finished it and I had to go back for more. Im an addict now.. a maple junkie even. There is a worker I think named Ethane, who just absolutely brightens your day the second he even looks at you, he's really funny and he has always warmed up my pastries to perfect warmth, never cold in the middle (that takes skill). Also a girl named Sam who makes a perfect drink every time, I can always rely on her to warm my heart and make me feel at home. Then there is JJ.. girl don't get me started on JJ.... she has a magic touch and a perfect smile. making my drink like its personal. Need I say more?????????....These workers...... they just have the spirit, tenacity, heart, and work ethic that a coffee shop in the city needs. Give them a fat bonus or at least a hearty tip in their tip jar. I love the vibe at coffee break. There is a certain energy in the room that makes you want to stay longer. comfy seating, entrances in front and back, and great lighting in the bathroom mirror (which is very important if you frequently post on instagram stories)

Usually get a "Dirty Chai" or the "Bob Marley"! Service is always top tier! The owner is a cool guy

Pretty spacious, good coffee, a decent vibe. The service was nice and the place seems clean. My only complaint could be the parking situation which is for almost every place in salt lake.

Salt Lake Coffee Break is a cute little coffee shop in downtown SLC. Though parking behind the shop is hard to come by, there is additional free underground parking just a little further behind the store. It was nice to return to a cool car after visiting the store. Upon entering, we were greeted by a very nice brunette who was all smiles and was very helpful. We just ordered water and some of the chocolate poundcake (OMG, SO GOOD!) and had a seat. You have to request a key to use the restrooms, by the way, which is a little inconvenient. The poundcake was some of the best I've had and when I couldn't finish it, my husband took care of the rest of it! Overall, this is a great place to hang out and watch the locals come and go. Why not stop by and see what's going on?
